Black Country Type - Birmingham Photo walk
Join acclaimed artist Tom Hicks on a guided Photo Walk around Balsall Heath and Moseley area.
Come join us for an exciting photo-walk with Tom Hicks: artist, writer, and curator best known for his ongoing photography project 'Black Country Type.' His work explores the post-industrial landscape of the region, focusing on words, typography, handmade lettering and signs. We've been fortunate to work with Tom for more than a year, and he has undoubtedly become an integral part of Seventh Circle's fabric.
The walk commences at Moseley Road Baths in Balsall Heath, and under Tom's guidance, we'll journey to the gallery. Here, you'll gain insights into Tom's ongoing projects and view his work on display including a new, locally inspired print.
This is an opportunity to try your hand at urban photography. The event will be laid back - no previous experience of photography is needed - simply bring along your smart phone or camera. Don't forget to share your shots as you capture the essence of Moseley during the walk, using the exclusive hashtag #bctsvnthcrcl and @BlackCountrytype & @svnth_crcl
This is a mostly outdoor event and is at the mercy of the weather, dress appropriately and please note, adults must accompany children under 18.
