Static Zoo

Static Zoo is a series of silkscreen paintings and mono prints by multi-media artist Remee Crawford, an artist living and working in Birmingham. It is a mausoleum, a side show attraction, and a revelation of fragments.

Remee’s main focus is on composition, colour and multi-layered photographic imagery that evokes emotion or sensation. He combines screenprinting with abstract painting techniques to create ‘silkscreen paintings’. This creates a layered effect and a touch of chaos to the compositions, making each piece unique
