Peter Viet-Lu
Peter is a multidisciplinary artist with a passion for exploring themes within Natural History & Anatomy, intertwined with popular culture.
His work takes on an abstracted form, while using contemporary aesthetics to create a playful approach to references of specimens both living and archival.
He enjoys blending a variety of techniques with pattern-making in his artwork and combining sculpture, photography, drawing and painting, ultimately allows him to be diverse and creative.
Peter says: "For as long as I can remember, I have always had a fascination with Natural History, anatomy, skulls and bones, and the culture of such imagery found in tattoos, motorcycles and rock music. The same kid in me that saw his first dinosaur skeleton in the Museum of Natural History in London is still there and that’s led on to a keen interest in the aesthetics surrounding anatomy."
